H.E. Khalid Al Ghaith, Secretary-General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, conducted a series of visits and meetings in Beirut as part of the celebrations of the International Day of Human Fraternity in Lebanon, as follows:
1- A visit to the historic Deir El Kalaa Monastery and a meeting with the Monastery’s President and General Administrator, Father Beshara Elia
2- A visit to the Antonine Art Institute and a meeting with the Director of the Institute, Father Charbel Bou Abboud
3- A meeting with the President of the Episcopal Committee for Christian–Muslim Dialogue, Bishop Charle Mourad
4- A visit to the General Headquarters of the Antonine Maronite Order and a meeting with the General Administrator, Father Boutros Azar
5- A visit to the Druze Sheikh Akl, H.E. Dr. Sami Abu Al Muna
During these meetings, His Excellency and the accompanying delegation were warmly welcomed, and exchanged views on ways to enhance and implement the values of human fraternity. The discussions also emphasized the importance of continuing to strengthen the principles of fraternity, tolerance, and coexistence among all segments of society to achieve development, prosperity, and stability.
