Beirut will host a high-level gathering on 17 February 2026 titled “Human Fraternity as a Foundation for a Shared Future,” bringing together religious, intellectual, and academic leaders from Lebanon and abroad. The event is organized by the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity in cooperation with the Antonine Maronite Order and the Episcopal Committee for Christian-Muslim Dialogue in Lebanon, marking the International Day of Human Fraternity and promoting coexistence, peace, and interfaith dialogue. Official remarks will be delivered by H.E. Ambassador Dr. Khalid Al Ghaith, Secretary-General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity; His Excellency Bishop Charbel Mourad, President of the Episcopal Committee for Christian-Muslim Dialogue in Lebanon; and H.E. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, and together with other renowned speakers. This gathering highlights HCHF’s role as a platform for dialogue, partnerships and cooperation for human fraternity.
