H.E. Ambassador Dr. Khalid Al Ghaith Met with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV to promote the values of the Abu Dhabi Document on Human Fraternity

His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, Head of Vatican City State, invited the Secretary-General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity to a private meeting at the Vatican. The meeting underscored a shared commitment to promoting peace, coexistence, and human solidarity in line with the Abu Dhabi Document on Human Fraternity. The Secretary-General conveyed greetings from the UAE leadership, while the Pope praised the UAE as a global model for fostering human fraternity. The Committee presented its recent initiatives and future programs, which the Pope highlighted as vital amid today’s global challenges. Both sides discussed opportunities to deepen cooperation between the Holy See and the Committee to advance dialogue and human dignity. The meeting concluded with a joint commitment to expand collaboration in support of the principles of the Abu Dhabi Document on Human Fraternity.
